Ethernet based Virtual Private Network (MPLS L2 VPN) enables interconnection of two offices or branches of a company using Ethernet protocol (layer 2 of the OSI reference model).
Within the framework of this service two ports are provisioned on Rostelecom IP/MPLS network to ensure transparent point-to-point flow of data between offices thus offering a cost-effective alternative to leased circuits and a guarantee of uncompromisingly high quality.

operations of common data bases, CRM and ERP applications, e-mail, e-trading systems, security systems, etc. of two (or all, in case of simultaneous order of several L2 VPN circuits) branches of a company;
guaranteed operations of business-critical applications (voice, video, business application data) including those which employ protocols other than IPv4, with required quality of service;
implementation of cost-effective internal corporate VoIP telephony;
streamlining circuit provisioning costs compared to traditional dedicated circuits based network, while still using standard IP equipment;

Business Priority (used for delay and loss critical multimedia and voice traffic);
Business Critical (used for applications traffic, sensitive to packet loss and network response time, like corporate CRM/ERP systems);
Normal Priority (all other data traffic non-sensitive to packet loss and delay variation, like file exchange, e-mail, Internet);
Flexible billing options are available for each connection port:
volumes based billing depending on amount of transmitted information;
flat rate fixed amount charge, regardless of the transmitted information volumes;
Protocols different from IPv4 are supported – IPv6, IPX, FCoE, etc.;
Turn-key service delivery, including provision of access lines (“last mile”) and supply of end-user equipment (CPE).
